"In past years, the University took a handful of students on CareerConnect trips to meet with employers, thanks to generous donations from Gene & Allyson Yamagata. This year, we’re doing something new! Next week, we will have INTERNATIONAL schools, governments, companies, & Church Self-Reliance Managers on our campus for the first-ever Asia Pacific Career Conference!

This week Wednesday through Saturday, March 7-10, we’ll have huge activities on campus with these reps from the Asia Pacific region, such as Career Fair with international and U.S. employers & grad schools; employer info sessions; panel discussions; and interviews!

● Wednesday features a “Lunch & Mingle” with Self-Reliance Managers in the CAF.

● Thursday kicks off with a Welcome & Special Announcement at the PCC IMAX theater, followed by Career Fair in the Aloha Center Ballroom & Mall, panel discussions across campus, and employer info sessions.

● Friday features the “We Are BYU-Hawaii” presentation in the IMAX theater, a Networking Lunch, interviews, more info sessions, and special IMAX films focusing on Laie, the Hukilau, and Students.

● Finally, Saturday concludes with a Hukilau at Hukilau Beach.
